At what point in the building process will I make my interior color selections?
Once your Pre-Drywall selections are solidified with your salesperson and have been reviewed by construction, our Interior Design Consultant will be in contact to schedule your color appointment.

What selections will I be making at the Design Center?
You will be selecting all of the features that personalize the interior of your home including doors and railings, lighting, cabinets and countertops, appliances, flooring, wall tile, plumbing fixtures and fireplace features to name a few.

Is there an additional cost for these options? Your home already includes many standard options. In addition, there are a multitude of upgrades to select from. The pricing varies by each community and model. All upgraded pricing will be reviewed in detail during your color appointment.

Who will I meet with for my color appointment?
You will be meeting with Stacey Gradle who will be your personal Interior Design Consultant. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg. Her background includes four years of experience in commercial design prior to joining the Kenar team in September of 2004. She will be there to guide you through each step of the decision making process to ensure your new home reflects your individual preferences and personality.

How long will my color appointment take?
Please be prepared to spend approximately four to five hours completing all of your interior color selections. While each buyer is unique, this will give you a good general guideline.

Do I have to make all of these decisions in one appointment?
Preview appointments are available if you would prefer an overview of options prior to making final selections.

Is the Design Center open for browsing?
In order to provide each of our buyers with personalized service, our showroom operates by appointment only Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm. Limited Saturdays are available if needed, from 8:00am – 4:30pm.
